What voice commands can I use through Google Home?

Mysa's integration with the smart home device, Google Home, allows homeowners to control their thermostats using voice commands. This article lists all the commands the Google Assistant understands regarding your thermostats.

*We suggest naming zones by room name.

Getting Google Home to tell you the Temperature / Setpoint of a Thermostat:

  • "Ok Google, what is the current temperature in the <room name>?"
  • "Hey Google, what's the <room name> set to?"
  • "Ok Google, what's the temperature of my <room name>?"

Setting the Temperature:

  • "Ok Google, set the temperature in the <room name> to <temperature>."

Increasing / Decreasing the Temperature:

  • "Hey Google, increase the temperature in the <room name>."
    • >> This will result in a 5 degrees F (3 degrees C) increase from the current setpoint.
  • "Hey Google, decrease the temperature in the <room name>."
    • >> This will result in a 5 degrees F (3 degrees C) decrease from the current setpoint.
  • "Hey Google, increase the temperature in the <room name> by <number> degrees."
