Your life doesn't always follow a routine schedule, which is why the Mysa app comes with several different kinds of modes to control your thermostats. Here is a list of the modes and how they can be useful:
Follow Schedule: Sets the Mysa thermostats to follow the schedule that you have already set. This mode is useful for maintaining comfort and saving energy during your day-to-day life.
Hold Indefinitely: Maintains the Mysa thermostat or heating zone at the current setpoint temperature. This mode is perfect if you have any family or friends staying in a room that normally isn't heated.
Hold Till: Keeps the Mysa thermostat or heating zone at the same current temperature until the specified time provided. Once the timer expires, the thermostats will return to the regular schedule. You can use this mode for snow days when you happen to be home all day.
Vacation Indefinitely: Maintains all Mysa thermostats at a new setpoint temperature when enabled. Not sure when you’ll be home from your trip? Use this mode to save energy while you’re away.
Vacation Till: Keeps all Mysa thermostats at a new setpoint temperature until the specified time provided when enabled. Once the timer expires, the thermostats will return to the regular schedule. Going away for the weekend? You can use this mode and set the schedule to return on Monday.
Off mode: Completely turns off any heaters connected to the Mysa thermostat. Your baseboards won't be heating the room until you turn the heat back on. This mode is perfect when you’re not at your cottage during the summer. Off mode will not be overridden by your schedule.
