This article will also apply to the following inquiries: My Mysa thermostat is no longer connected, the WiFi icon on the app has an exclamation point through it, or my thermostat was connected and now it's not.
If you cannot access your thermostat from the mobile app, and you see a red exclamation mark in the app, your Mysa is likely offline. What you are encountering is a bug, the WiFi disconnect. The WiFi disconnect is something that our software team is aware of and working on solving rather diligently as it is the #1 problem we have encountered.
In the meantime, doing a power cycle with the device is one of the temporary solutions we have at this time. To complete a power cycle of the thermostat, flip the breaker off for your thermostat, wait 5 minutes, and then flip the breaker back on.
Another solution is to do a factory reset of the unit, and then re-pairing with the device. You may need to use your thumbs so that there is a lot of contact on the arrows, and kind of press into them for roughly 20 seconds since the sensitivity is not where we would like it to be (but this is going to be fixed for good in our next firmware update this month.)
