iOS Troubleshooting

Things to check

Check to see if your iOS device is connected to a 2.4 GHz band of your WiFi network.

Make sure your iOS device is connected to the home’s WiFi network that you wish to join

Ensure you see the pairing symbol (an upside down triangle) on your Mysa

Troubleshooting

Step 1)

Turn off WiFi assist as it can interfere with the pairing process.

Launch Settings app > Tap cellular > Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and switch the WiFi Assist toggle to Off.

Launch the Settings app, tap Cellular, and then tap on the on/off switch next to Wi-Fi Assist.

Step 2)

Ensure the thermostat you are trying to pair is not in the Mysa App.

Mysa app > tap thermostat > tap settings in the right-hand corner > tap the trash can icon

Step 6)

Open the Mysa app and try to add your thermostat to the WiFi network again.

Once it is paired and you can find it in the main app screen, it may show the disconnected symbol (a red exclamation mark over the Wi-Fi symbol) for roughly 30 seconds and then it will go away on its own.
